Butler Performance started in Rome, Georgia because too many owners get stuck choosing between a cookie-cutter template that doesn't fit and a big agency that overcharges and disappears. There's a better option: software built around how your business actually works, by someone who answers the phone. Chase Butler founded it on that idea and still builds every platform on this site.

In October 2026, former LSU and NBA forward Tyrus Thomas joined as Partner, and Butler Performance opened its second home base in his hometown of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Two partners, one company: everything we build and run carries one name, including The Recruiting Assist, the recruiting and NIL platform Tyrus founded, and Pressbox, our media guides, weekly chapters and yearbooks for school sports programs. We'd rather show you real work than talk about it. BDS Landscape Co runs its site and its office on a system we built. The Recruiting Assist is the recruiting and NIL platform we built with Tyrus before he was a partner, and now one of our own. • Rome, Georgia. Home base, led by Chase, serving Floyd County and Northwest Georgia.
• Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Home base, led by Tyrus Thomas, serving Greater Baton Rouge and the surrounding parishes.
• Nationwide. Both partners built networks through sports: Chase as a Division I baseball player at Georgia Tech and a PGA Golf Professional at the private country club level, Tyrus at LSU and in the NBA. Clients anywhere in the U.S. work with us remotely, with the same direct line to the people building their system.

Who we work with

Butler Performance builds the systems. For the work that has to be seen, like property and project photography, drone and video, our media partner is EMB Solutions, a media company in Rome. A platform is only as persuasive as the work it's showing, and most businesses have neither. When a project needs both, you get one agreement, one invoice and one point of contact.
