The challenge
Details — The Carwash is an appointment-only, hand-detail shop with a real reputation in Rome — a Best-of-Rome winner that earns its work one clean car at a time. But every booking still ran through phone tag and social-media DMs: no way to book online, no way to collect a deposit to hold a slot, and no back office to see the day at a glance. A great shop was being run out of a text thread, and every missed message was a missed job.
What we built
A booking-first website with the operating system behind it — the storefront customers see and the admin that actually runs the shop:
- A booking-first homepage — an award-backed hero with one-tap Book and Call, and the booking flow placed right under it so a visitor can reserve in seconds
- A four-step booking flow — pick a service, choose add-ons, pick a date and time, and enter details; every booking fires an instant email alert to the owner
- Size-tiered pricing — hand wash, full detail and window tint priced by vehicle size, with a quote path for oversized and fleet work — all editable from the admin
- Online deposits — a Square-backed deposit flow so the shop can hold a slot and cut no-shows, with a deposit amount set per service
- A full back-office admin — a bookings and leads pipeline, a services & pricing editor, availability and settings, plus permanent cleanup tools
- A technician scheduler — day and week views, per-tech assignments, and a shareable link, email or printable schedule so the crew always knows the day
- Proof and place — a before/after work gallery of real cars, a Google-review path and a live map with directions and click-to-call
The result
The shop now books itself around the clock. Customers reserve and pay a deposit online instead of waiting on a callback, every request lands as an email and a row in the pipeline, and the owner runs the whole day — bookings, pricing, crew and follow-up — from one dashboard.
